Fenagh St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Starts at 2pm on Thursday 17th March.  This is our 6th Parade and all are welcome.  Anyone wishing to participate (it’s free) will meet at Tully Lane from 1:30pm – follow the Stewards’ advice.  For a fun, family day out, come on down to Fenagh and let us entertain you!!

Congratulations to Frank O’Rourke (formerly of Drumany) who was elected as a TD to represent the Kildare North Constituency in the 32ndDail. Well done Frank.

Progressive 25 Card Game

Progressive 25 Winter/Spring League continues this Thursday 10th March in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30. League prizes (Sponsored by Conefrey’s Abbey Bar), Nightly prizes and Jackpot. Entry €8 with refreshments served. Last week’s winner was T Tiernan 7games with 4 finishing on 6 games. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club.

Fenagh Ladies GFC:  Sponsored Walk/Jog/Run

The date is Easter Monday, 28th March at 2pm starting at the Monks Den/Heritage Centre in Fenagh.  This year we are walking/jogging/running a new route which is 7KM.  This is a fun day out for all the family.  Sponsorship cards will be available this week for all club members.  All are welcome on the day when you can register for this event so mark your calendars.


Congratulations to Ellie O Rourke who won a silver medal in the Junior Girls race at the Connacht Schools Cross Country in Sligo. Also well done to Sibeal Reynolds on finishing 8th in the Glo Health Athletics Ireland Senior Indoor Championships in Athlone.

Fenagh Visitor Centre

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Mon to Friday 10.00-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday 12-5.30pm. Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’.
