Leitrim
Well done to the Leitrim team and management on their performance in the Connacht championship, they put in a magnificent effort against Galway with opportunities to win the game. Hopefully we can keep building on these performances and keep this young team together. Congrates to our own Tom Prior who was named man of the match and put in a brilliant performance.
Ladies
Well done to the ladies on a good win on Sunday over Kiltubrid, it was a great performance with some good scores in the 1:13 to 1:04 win.
U14 Girls
Our U14 girls, who moved up to Division 2 this year, are off to a strong start. After a fantastic first win against St Joseph’s with an 18-point margin, they faced a very strong Mohill side last week and were narrowly beaten by 6 points.
The girls showed great character, coming out fighting in the second half and giving it everything, but just couldn’t close the gap. Their determination, teamwork, and effort are clear to see, and they continue to play excellent football.
Plenty to be proud of—well done to all involved!
Naomh Eoin
A mixed week for the lads with our u13 div one lads beaten away by Glencar Manor and a score of 1:11 to 1:03.
Our u17 were in action on Thursday against Glencar Manor in Ballinamore going down by 2 points and a score of 1:11 to 2:10, the lads will be disappointed after a poor first half left Manor in control, we were much better in the second half with opportunities to get more out of the game but Manor held on
Our u-13 Div.3 team played Friday evening in Fenagh against Melvin Gales and came away with another win making it two out of two and a score of 2:12 to 3:03
