You & your friends are Invited to The Very Small Gallery for the Opening of
“FORGIVENESS” An exhibition By Celia Richard
Opening 5.30pm Friday 9th November Open until 8pm on the night
Exhibition runs until Thursday 22nd November - Opening Hours – Weds-Sat 11am-6pm THE VERY SMALL GALLERY, BUSH CRAFT YARD, CARRICK
ON SHANNON
The last in the series of 5 different exhibitions at the Very Small Gallery in Carrick on Shannon opens on Fri 9th Nov at 5.30pm.
FORGIVENESS, an exhibition of painting and mixed media by Celia Richard is part of an interesting record from trauma to emotional
wellbeing told through her artworks. Celia, a multi talented artist, comes from the Champaign Region of North East of France and
has been living and working in Cavan for the past 10 years. With her post grad from NUI Maynooth Celia mainly works in Art in Care
settings and has exhibited widely in the Cavan/Leitrim area. Each painting, though part of a journey, is an attractive piece on
its own, many with its own story to tell. There is a deep emotional feel to some of these paintings, yet they are not depressing,
in fact with their explanations they can bring a nod of understanding and a smile at the quiet beauty in them. During the
exhibition, each piece will have its own story with it.
FORGIVENESS will open on Fri 9th November from 5.30-8pm, and after that at gallery opening hours 11-6; weds-Sat or by appointment.
The exhibition will run until 22nd Nov when it will be followed by an exhibition of New Work for Christmas including a couple of
pieces from each exhibition. For any further information please contact Sandra at 087 2943853, www.theverysmallgallery.com or
join us on Facebook.
