Palestinian Quiz for Christmas

The annual Yuletide quiz which happens every year around Christmas in Mc Girls Pub is coming up again on the 27th December, 9.45pm, Weather permitting.

A great night for questions and answers some would say and raffles and prizes they'd add. Always a good night out for the people, was how one of the people put it last year. Will it be on again next year? another demanded. It's thirteen years on the go now, it's what? I remember it was only the first year and we came second place, we got a fork handle each for a prize but it couldn't be exchanged for one. First prize was a candle each for the four membered team. I don't go in for the prizes, it's the prestige of winning that I don't go in for. I won the same punch bowl set in the raffle three years in a row, couldn't get rid of it and of course who can forget the year that John Cryan made his legendary magnanimous gesture of throwing-up the Christmas pudding he won in the raffle, teary eyed observers said it was what Christmas was all about, others said he got a glimpse of the best before date on the pudding and it the same year he was born, nevertheless magnanimous and a happy new year!
