New Businesses in Ballinamore – Welcome!!

I think I speak for most people in welcoming the new business premises in Ballinamore, from the Old Clinic to The New Tourism Offices, from reopened shops at the top of the town to more shops opening at the bottom of the town.  We wish them and all the businesses in town a successful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Christmas time’ for Loughlin Óg!

‘Children playing in the snow, they swear they’ve seen old Santa go, Across the sky with all their toys, with Rudolph and his shiny nose’- Just some of the lyrics from Tish Dunleavy’s song ‘Christmastime’ which was recorded with the pupils from the Hunt School, Mohill. This will be on sale at the special benefit night in St.Mary’s Church of Ireland Mohill on Sunday 4th December 8pm when the Sweet Spirit Country/Gospel Group will be joined by blue grass group ‘Cat’s Meow’, ‘Rodeo Man’, Cavan Big Band Trumpeter Pat Glynn & Norma, May Reynolds Malone, Colm O’Reilly & many more for a night of Country, Gospel, Blues, Jazz, Folk & Christmas Classics. All proceeds will go  for aftercare support for Loughlin Óg Burns and his parents Amanda & Loughlin. Loughlin Óg’s maternal grandparents Siobhan & Eoin Carron reside in Corraleehan.
