Nicola from the Friary in San Giovani Rotondo where Padre Pio spent most of his priestly life until his death in 1968.  Pope Francis asked for the remains of Padre Pio to be brought to the Vatican in February as part of the celebrations for this Jubilee Year of Mercy such was the dedication of this great Capuchin Saint in the many hours he spent in the confessional.  Many healings have been attributed to the intercession of Saint Pio and large crowds always attend the healing Masses dedicated to his life. Blessings will take place after Mass with the relics of Saint Pio, i.e. his mittens that he wore to cover the wounds of the stigmata which he had for 50 years.  Everyone is welcome.
