Film Morning For Children Ballinamore Library
“The Dog Who Saved Christmas”

The Bannister family's new addition, Zeus, the yellow Labrador and former K-9 police hero, appears to be less than the dependable guard dog the family needs. However, when two burglars set out to break into the Bannister's home while they are away for Christmas Eve, Zeus seizes the chance to be a hero, proving every dog even this one has his day. Bring the kids along to Ballinamore Library on Saturday morning 6th December at 11.30am to see this heart-warming story “The Dog Who Saved Christmas” and have a look at the large selection of Christmas books now in stock.

Film Evening ‘Mamma Mia’ Tuesday 9th At 7.30pm

Come along to Ballinamore Library on Tuesday 9th December at 7.30pm and see the movie “Mamma Mia”; This feel good blockbuster adaptation of the smash-hit stage musical, with Meryl Streep finding love the second time around on the Greek isles. After reading her mother Donna's diary, soon-to-be-wed Sophie invites three of her mother's old flames, Bill (Stellan Skarsgard), Sam (Pierce Brosnan), and Harry (Colin Firth) to the wedding, in the hope of finding out who her real father is. Arriving on the sun-drenched Mediterranean island for the first time in 20 years, the now middle-aged hunks soon rekindle long dormant emotions, causing Donna to revisit her past glories, and, with the help of her two oldest friends, Rosie and Tanya, belt out all those Abba hits with the exuberance of a spring chicken.
