Ballinamore Whish Drive
The usual monthly whist drive will be held this Thursday 6th November in the Ballinamore Community Centre at the NEW TIME OF 8.30pm.  So come along and enjoy this pre-Christmas whist drive and get a bit of practice in for the Christmas game with all the usual fabulous prises!!

Church Street, Ballinamore, Sunday Service is at 12.15pm every Sunday except on the 4th Sunday which is held in Drumreilly Church, Drumreilly

1 Day For Rehab
RehabCare Ballinamore will be hosting a fundraising event on Thursday the 13th of November betweean 11am-2pm in the resource centre here in Ballinamore. We will be having a coffee morning, a cake sale and our Drama group will be performing their play “1 Day for Rehab” at 12.30pm.We would greatly appreciate your support  All Welcome

"Ballinamore Annual Car Wash”
Ballinamore Annual Car wash takes place on Sat 15th November at the square Ballinamore , this year’s charity is the Jack and Jill Foundation , which helps provide nursing hours within the home environment for very sick children aged 0_4yrs. Very worthwhile cause , all donations welcome . 

Waterways Iireland
Waterways Ireland are pleased to announce they have completed the majority of their works adjacent to Lock 6 Ballinamore on the golf links road and the walkway and cycling route has now been reopened to the public.  Waterways Ireland would like to thank our customers for their co-operation with this matter during the construction phase.

Ballinamore Women’s Group
The monthly meeting of Ballinamore women's group is on Wednesday November 5th at 8pm. The outing to Belfast is on Saturday November 8th. The bus will leave the square at 9am. Cost of the trip is 45euro which must be paid to any member before Oct 31st. Enquirers to 0876327959.

Scrabble For Fun
Would you like to play or learn to play scrabble?

Elma Walsh – Mother Of The Late Kerry Teenager, Donal R.I.P,
who captured the minds and hearts of the nation as he battled cancer - will be the guest speaker at a special event on Wednesday 12 November next at 8:00p.m.  in Manorhamilton (venue to be confirmed).  This event is being organised by the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre as part of its series of events on the theme of 'Bereavement and Loss' this November.  All welcome.  Suggested donation: €5.  Contact the Centre on 049 4375004 for further information.  Mrs Walsh will also give a talk in the Pastoral Centre in Cavan on Thursday 13 November at 8:00p.m.

Ballinamore  Defib  Heartsafe Committee
The above are holding their AGM on Wednesday 12th November at 8.30pm in the meeting room in Sean O Heslins GAA grounds.  We would always welcome new members to the committee.

Masses for the Week :  

Ballinamore : Mon & Wed 7pm,  Tue, Thrs & Fri  9am , Sat 11am & 7pm (vigil)  Sun 11.30am. Aughnasheelin :  Wed 9am, Fri 8pm, Sunday 10am
Visitation of the sick and Housebound will take place this week: Aughnasheelin on Wednesday  Morning and Ballinamore on Friday Morning.
Confirmation Meeting:  A meeting for parents of all our young people who attend  primary school in the parish and who  will receive the sacrament of confirmation next May will take place in St.Patrick’s Boys School this Wednesday November 5th at 8-30 pm.

Fighting Blindness
There will be a church gate collection on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of November. Please support this worthy cause.

Recent Hospice Coffee Morning 
A huge thank you to all those who contributed so generously to the recent coffee morning and to all those who baked and helped out in any way.  €1,200 was raised and has been sent to the local north west hospice.  Sincere thanks to all. Brid McGourty.

Men’s Shed Co-Operative
As the evenings draw to a close and people have time on their hands there will be an attempt to re-launch this club.  Our attempt last spring failed due to the fact people were too busy.  Since then we had many enquires and by popular request we are holding a meeting on Monday the 3rd of November at 8pm in Smyth’s Siopa Ol.
