We increased our points by four this year in the National Super valu sponsored Tidy Towns Competition. A big thank you to everybody for keeping their houses, gardens, business premises, residential areas, neat, clean, tidy, well painted with lots of flowers and pavements swept up. Thank you to our National schools, secondary schools, afterschool service, two An Gaisce girls for helping us with different projects. Thank you to all the organisations and individuals who have helped us in any way and especially to Leitrim County Council Staff, Leitrim Development Co RSS workers and our Tus worker David Bowes. The committee is delighted with all the co-operation that we have received, from Spring cleans to individuals watering flowers, mowing, strimming grass and picking up litter when they see it.
