What a weekend for Leitrim GAA fans and teams with the Senior Mens and Ladies both recording victories along with our u14 girls who also put in a fantastic display beating Derry by 1 point, the club was well represented at the weekend with Dean McGovern, Shane Moran, Oisin McCaffrey, Darren Maxwell all part of the Senior team, we were also well represented in the ladies team that also won against Derry with Emma McGovern, Eilish O’Dowd, Laura O’Dowd, Laoise Moran King and Abbie Sweeney in action for the county, at u14 we were well represented with Adrian Murphy coaching the u14 and Laura Maguire, Lizzie O'Connell, Ella van der Laan, Teagan McGloin, Aoibhinn Keegan and Kelly Beirne all pulling on the Leitrim jerseys. Fantastic results and well done to all the players.

Scor Na Og

All Ireland Final  is taking place on Saturday 16th February in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. The quiz is taking place in Castlebar De La Salle Sports Hall at 11 am sharp where Leitrim will be represented by Ballinamore Sean O’Heslins. Entry to the quiz will be free of charge. Your support for Our Trath na gCeist team of Eoin Connaughton, Eoin Hamill, Bernard Sweeney and Brian Sweeney would be greatly appreciated.


Under Age Boys Matches

The Sean MacDiarmada Gaels under 13 and under 17 teams will be in league action this weekend, with first up the u13 teams playing in Ballinamore at 11am on Saturday against Allen Gaels and Annaduff followed by the u17’s who will play their first match on Sunday at 12:00 in Mohill. Good luck to all the players and coaches, they have been training hard for the last few weeks and we wish them all well for the coming season.


Ireland Lights Up

Ballinamore Lights Up - There was a great crowd at the pitch last Thursday evening  for operation transformation and we hope everyone can brave the cold and make it again this Thursday! Everyone is welcome, no matter what your fitness level or whether you want to run, walk or jog  or to just meet with your friends for a chat.


Clubrooms historical display

It is planned to put up a permanent display of photographs and memorabilia relating to the club in the clubrooms. Apart from photos, this could include old jerseys, programmes or any items relating to club players or successes in past years in football, hurling, Scór nó aon rud eile. If you have any items or any ideas, contact Seán Ó Súilleabhain at 087 6821566.


Cúl Camps Venues 2019

This years camp will be in Ballinamore from July 1st to the 5th, this is a great camp for all the children and further details for registering will follow shortly.
