Ballinamore Musical Society are back with a production of the family favourite musical “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”.
Starring James Boyle and Cait Cullen and a cast of thousands of Ceannabos, this production is overseen by veteran BMS producer Sean Creamer, musical director Gerarda Burns and Choreographer Ciara Duignan.
The rehearsals are in full swing, the sets are being built, lines are being learnt and steps are vigorously practiced. A buzz is brewing on facebook and other online outlets, in fact there’s a deafening murmur around Ballinamore about this extravaganza that in less than two weeks time will be rattling the boards of the community hall!

Hot on the heels of the musical society’s last performance is the opening of the 31st Ballinamore Drama Festival, which opens on March 4th and continues until the 11th March. A fantastic selection of plays for 8 nights and if you purchase a season ticket the admission works out at 5 euro a night. Needless to Season tickets are being snapped up quickly at 40 each
