Cinema North West’s FREE ‘New Roots Film Festival’

Free screenings for cinema fans in Ballinamore this weekend.

Cinema North West’s ‘New Roots’ film festival to celebrate diversity and culture in Leitrim today.

Cinema-lovers in Leitrim have much to look forward to this coming February.  Cinema North West’s ‘New Roots’ film festival will see a selection of films being screened free-of-charge in Cinema North West’s cinemobile in towns across Leitrim County.

Cinema North West’s ‘New Roots’ film festival aims to screen entertaining films that reflect Leitrim’s many cultures, races and religions, to be enjoyed by newcomers, minority groups and those who have been deeply rooted here for generations.

All films are free of charge and will be screened in Cinema North West’s Cinemobile, which will be located outsider Ballinamore Sports Complex.

The New Roots Festival will also take place in Carrick on Shannon February 18th – 20th.

Friday
2pm – Leaps and Bounds / Hoppet
6.30pm – Here to Stay
8.30pm – The Reverse Rewers

Saturday
3pm – Kirikou and the Sorceress
6.30pm – Le Grand Voyage
8.30pm – The Last Temptation of Christ

Sunday
5pm – Kundun
8pm – The Front Line
