  • 1st Leitrim Cubs and Scouts County Orienteering Day. -
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venture Scouts from Ballinamore, Longford, Lanesboro and Boyle enjoyed a day of orienteering last Sunday 14th November in the Forest Park, Boyle. It was a foggy day but nevertheless it was extremely well attended.  Ballinamore and Longford Venture Scouts along with their Leaders helped to set out courses from the Lough Keel Scout Campsite, teams were set off in 2-3 minute intervals with maps and clues.  All the children had a brilliant day, navigating their way around the Forest Park and there were burgers, hotdogs and treats for all when they had finished.  Another excellent County Event, thanks to everyone that helped out.”
