Lahard Residents Association

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration
Reminder: An important meeting will be held on Wednesday 7th July in Church Crying Chapel at 8.30pm to make arrangements for Adoration.
Singing Course for Children at The Shaylyn Centre
A four week singing class for children aged 4 to 13 years with professional voice coach Martina Rynn A.R.I.A.M will take place at The Shaylyn Centre starting Wednesday the 7th of July. The course costs €40 and requires a €10 deposit to: Martina Rynn, Lower Rover, Arigna, Co Roscommon. Children will learn to improve their vocal skills through exercise, scales, ear training and theoretical work. All styles of singing will be catered for. Job Seeking Skills Course – County Leitrim Job Club will be running a Job seeking skills Course in The Enterprise Centre, Ballinamore commencing on Monday 12th July and running for four weeks. This F.A.S programme is designed to help people prepare and find suitable employment or further training opportunities and is open to anybody who is not currently working. An attendance allowance is available to participants on this programme. ATHLETIC CLUB
Three members have qualified from Connacht to compete in the Under Ages All Ireland in Tullamore last Sunday while two more will compete on July 24th. Training for qualifiers continue Tuesday and Thursday at 5 00 p.m. The Club Open Roadrace this summer will include both 10K Race and 5K Fun Run and will be held on August 11th during the Festival.
Dance and Arts Summer School
Only a few places remain on the Music, Dance and Arts Summer School which takes place in Ballinamore July 12th to 16th and suits girls and boys 5 to 12 years. An action packed week is promised with a concert on Friday to entertain family and friends with what you have learned. The Church of Ireland, Church Street, Ballinamore, Sunday service is at 12.15pm every Sunday except on the 4th Sunday which is held in Drumreilly Church, Drumreilly.

Mohill Family Support Centre is now providing an outreach service for families in Ballinamore and surrounding parishes.The Ballinamore Outreach Office is operating on Wednesdays from 1.30pm – 4.30pm in La Nua office (upstairs), Main Street, Ballinamore. The Ballinamore outreach office can provide a wide variety of services, advice and support to families. Ballinamore Parent and Toddler Group every Wednesday morning in the Tráthnóna Centre in Ballinamore town from 11.00am – 12.30pm.
